J. Addison Gayer

This site is dedicated to Impressionist Art which is in the tradition of the late 19th and early 20th Century French, American and California Regional Impressionists. 

The featured contemporary artist is Jesse Addison Gayer, who works in oils, watercolor, and charcoal mediums.  


On this site there are three "Art Collections" :

These "Collections"  feature pieces by Mr. Gayer, whose signature monogram is 'J. Addison Gayer'. 

This section contains three separate collections: 
"Oils", "Watercolors", and "Charcoals".

His original oils and watercolors are available for purchase or inquiry by collectors and galleries. Most come framed by the artist.  The charcoals are generally not for sale.

In the "Art Collections" section there is also a "Other Artists on Sale".  This art is made available for sale by Mr. Gayer from time to time. Current offering a Wliiam Dorsey.

  There is an  "Artist's Journal"  page with personal reflections by  Mr.Gayer about his artistic related experiences. New Journal entries are added sporadically as thoughts and experiences occur.

Jesse wants his website to also be a reference source for collectors and students of  Early California Art ..... Thus the "Links" page contains links to California Art related websites that provide information about Early and Contemporary California Art.
